AREA HOTELS

While many of those attending are coming from the Southern California area, we want to make sure that even locals have options for staying near the wedding location and don’t have to stress about traffic either coming in or heading out in order to find a place to sleep.  We’ve made arrangements with some area hotels, which are detailed below.

This area in general often fills up quickly, so we strongly recommend you book a room as soon as you can!  Please book no later than the end of June, before the rooms are no longer reserved for us and wedding pricing may no longer apply.  If you do reserve late and manage to find a room with one of the listed hotels, still mention the wedding and see if they’ll honor the block rates.

We encourage sharing a room with someone… it makes finding a room easier, and more affordable.

NOTE:
We reserved two very nice higher-end locations for people to stay. We know that money is tight and have hunted the area for decent places to stay on a budget. It is very difficult to find more affordable lodgings in the area that do not have poor reviews. You are free to reserve a room wherever you want, but we strongly recommend you read reviews before booking anywhere else.

We were working to also get a block at the Days Inn Harbor Oceanside, but they are not taking any blocks at this time (there is a sport tournament that weekend apparently). This is the only other hotel we found where we feel comfortable recommending to you all to potentially stay at (so far), but we do not have a block or any special arrangements there.

  • Villas on the Green Luxury – Sleeps 4
    Group Rate: $299/night + 8% room tax (about $75 per person/night for 4 people, before tax)
    This is a 1 bedroom unit that has about 585 sq feet that can sleep 4 guests.  The master bedroom will come with a king bed, the living room comes with a queen sleeper sofa, and a partial kitchen (2 burner stove, no oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher).
  • Lawrence Welk Resort Villas – Sleeps 6-8
    Group Rate: $459/night + 8% room tax (about $75 per person/night for 6 people, before tax. $60 per person/night for 8 people if you feel friendly)
    This is a 2 Bedroom unit that has about 1,400 sq feet that can sleep 6 guests.  The first master bedroom has a king bed with a private bathroom, the second master bedroom has 2 full beds with a private bathroom.  This unit also comes with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer unit.

  • King Room – Group Rate: $249/night + room tax – Sleeps 3
    This room comes with a king bed and a sleeper sofa (sleeps 1).  Roll-away beds cannot be added under this package.  A crib may be requested if needed.

  • There are three levels of rooms, two with a single King bed and one with two Queen beds.
  • The price varies depending on the room you select and whether you are staying Friday or Saturday.  The base price range is $101-122(ish).
