Rules of the Location

The Fire Garden is a beautiful location for our wedding, and we’re very excited to share this space with everyone.  The facility has some rules and guidelines that we’ve been asked to share with attendees. Please take a moment to review this list ahead of time.  If anyone has any questions, please leave them in the comments below and we’ll make sure to provide an answer for everyone to see.

GENERAL

  • Please make sure to fill out the names for all attendees on the RSVP.  We will be providing a master list to the gate attendant, they will only be letting people in from this list.  Yes, you too, Mom…
  • Parents are responsible for their children at all times. Children are not to be left unattended and are not allowed to play with fire pits or art installations.
  • Please leave your pets at home.
  • Please do not feed the dogs living on the property.
  • Throwing of rice and confetti post-ceremony is not allowed.
  • All materials that can be recycled, including cans, glass, plastic bottles, and cardboard must be placed in the appropriate bins.
  • This is a Leave No Trace event… Please help us leave this lovely space in better condition than we found it.
  • No part of The Fire Garden grounds, sculptures, art, etc. shall be altered, affixed or moved without prior consent by owner.

THE BAR

  • Alcohol may be served only to guests 21 and over. Kelly and Dærick support this 100%. There will be appropriate drink options for minors available.
  • Only specifically designated attendants may run the bar or serve alcohol. They may not drink any alcohol themselves before or while on duty.
  • Once the bar is closed, only non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
  • Please drink responsibly.  We want everyone to enjoy this event safely.
  • If you are even a little incapacitated, please do not drive.
  • If you need a ride, please find event staff or someone in the wedding party and we will make sure you obtain safe transportation.
  • Please read the previous three points again.  We love you, and intend for everyone to be safe.

MUSIC/NOISE

  • Amplified music ends at 11:00 pm.
  • Please do not bring your own music/instruments. Even for the after-party, the volume must be kept low as there are residences nearby.

SMOKERS

  • Smokers are asked to use designated areas and the provided receptacles (flower pots with sand) to dispose of cigarette butts.  This applies to e-cig smokers as well.
  • Please DO NOT put out or dispose of your cigarettes on the ground, anywhere. Period. See the previous point above.
  • Please be mindful of where your smoke is blowing. Many guests (including the bride) are very sensitive to scents and smells. Let’s be frank… cigarette smoke smells.
  • The bride and groom respectfully request no cigars, please.
